Face 2 Face

If you thrive in a classroom setting where you can work with and learn from other students, as well as an instructor, then the face to face model may be the best choice for you. You may prefer this delivery model if you are an engaged learner who enjoys a traditional classroom environment and does best with real time participation and immediate feedback. The face to face model may have logistical advantages if you live close to a university or if you have limited access to a computer.

A previous face to face NC TEACH participant comments about her experiences: “The cohort model created an instant support network. Sharing trials, tribulations, and successes in the face to face meetings made the first year of teaching survivable. It was important to have the support of other first year teachers struggling through similar experiences. I didn’t feel like I was alone.”
